Readings
will be assigned according to the topics of each weeks seminar and
will be drawn from the following list (see below), plus other readings
assigned by the guest speakers.
This Seminar
is part of the School of International Studies new Program on the
Environment and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean (PRENDE)
sponsored by the V.K. Rasmussen Foundation. The three-fold mission of
PRENDE is (a) to undertake interdisciplinary research; (b) to disseminate
the results; and (c) to train professionals.
